Register as a new user

Registration collects only an email address and a password. Your name, your workspace name, and what you want to use ScatterSpoke for are gathered afterwards, in the onboarding conversation — there is no long form to fill in here.

Which route you take depends on how you arrived.

Open the invite link. It lands on a join page naming the workspace, and the team if the invitation was team-scoped.

  1. Choose Create Account. The link carries the invitation with it, so you’ll be returned here afterwards.
  2. Register using either method below.
  3. Back on the join page, choose the join button to accept.

If you already have a ScatterSpoke account, choose Sign In instead — see signing in.

Three things can stop a join, and the page names each one:

What you seeWhat it means
Invitation ExpiredThe link is past its validity window. Ask an admin to reissue it.
Different Email AddressAcceptance is bound to the invited address. Register or sign in with the address the invitation was sent to.
No Seats AvailableThe workspace has no spare Seat Capacity. An admin needs to make a billing change before you can be given workspace access. See seats and capacity.

Go to the sign-up page directly. Everything below applies to both routes.

Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and complete the provider’s own screens. You’re returned to ScatterSpoke signed in, with no verification email to wait for.

Continue with Okta SSO works differently: type your work email into the email field first, then choose it. Without an email address to resolve the domain against, the button reports that it needs one. This route only works if your organization has already configured SSO — see SSO overview.

  1. Enter your email address.
  2. Enter a password. The minimum is 8 characters.
  3. Choose Create account.

The screen becomes a Check your email card. ScatterSpoke has sent a verification link to the address you entered.

  1. Open the email and follow the link.

Two controls sit on that card if something goes wrong:

  • Resend verification email sends another. It then locks for 60 seconds before it can be used again.
  • Use a different email returns you to the form with the address editable, for when you notice a typo.

Completing registration takes you to the onboarding conversation, where an AI interview collects your name, names your workspace, and asks what you’re trying to learn from feedback. That conversation is what actually creates the workspace.

If you registered through an invitation, the workspace already exists, so you land in it.

Getting started with ScatterSpoke walks through that first session end to end.
